Lineage 2 Interlude raid bosses and epics

Raid bosses are the reason clans exist in Lineage 2. Hundreds of them guard the world, from level 20 to level 80, and each drops gear, recipes and materials you cannot get anywhere else.

Epic bosses

Queen Ant in the Ant Nest, Core in Cruma Tower and Orfen in the Sea of Spores drop the first epic jewels. Zaken waits on the Devil’s Isle, Baium at the top of the Tower of Insolence, Antharas and Valakas in their lairs, and Frintezza — added in Interlude — in the Imperial Tomb.

Raid curse

Bosses curse players who are far above their level: a character more than eight levels higher is turned to stone. Every boss needs a party of its own level — another reason the whole server’s balance holds on x1.
