Castle sieges in Lineage 2 Interlude
Interlude has nine castles: Gludio, Dion, Giran, Oren, Aden, Innadril, Goddard, Rune and Schuttgart. Each one belongs to a clan — until another clan takes it in a siege.
How a siege works
Clans register as attackers or defenders before the siege. Attackers break through the gates and walls, and the clan leader must engrave the seal on the Holy Artifact inside the castle. Whoever holds the castle when the siege ends keeps it.
Why castles matter
The lord sets taxes in the castle’s territory and collects them, the clan gets prestige, special items and a strong base for its alliance. On PvP x1200 clans are ready for sieges within days, so every castle is contested.
